Rooted and Flowing

Inspired by Virginia Woolf’s soulful observation, “I am rooted, but I flow,” this series investigates the delicate tension between stability and transformation. Through the symbolic architecture of trees, these works explore the harmony between contrasting forces: the steadfastness required to remain grounded and the fluidity necessary to flourish.

In these compositions, vibrant, contrasting palettes serve as a visual metaphor for the movement of life. They reflect a psychological truth that true growth occurs when we are firmly anchored in ourselves, yet fluid enough to embrace the currents of change.
